Ever wondered if there's more in the way we're smoking than just personal preference? Lets take a brief look at each method before we share our conclusion
Bongs
Glass bongs are the most popular variety on the market. They are attractive, ornamental, and can include percolators and other smoke filtration systems. The visual appeal of bong smoke filtering its way through a glass bong is a major feature of Kika's bong selection. Nothing will fill the lungs quite as much as a bong which can easily do the job with one hit. Especially with the use of a rush hole, which will maximise your intake. Whether you prefer the newer percolator bongs or a more visually appealing bong, rest assured you're getting the most out of your smoke as effiecently and quickly as possible when using a bong.
Joints
The smoking experience with a bong or joint can feel quite different. Bongs use water to cool and filter the smoke, which can make the inhale smoother. But with joints, you get a more direct effect, often resulting in hot smoke that some find harsher. Joints are cheaper upfront since you only need rolling papers, but regular use can add up over time. Smoking joints is however a much more social occasion and somewhat simple and discrete. Its much easier to stash a joint than a bong if that becomes necessary! Joints will get you there though, just a little slower with more of a relaxing experience that is also easier to gauge your level of high.
Pipes
A favourite for me for sentimental reasons however if getting really high really quick is your goal, you might want to choose a bong instead. Pipes have that similar benefit of discretion that joints offer and provides a steady high in comparison thats also easy to gauge. It's much harder to pull a cone through a small pipe than a larger bong and that changes your smoking experience completely. A few tokes on a pipe will feel somewhat similar to a joint. The smoke will be warm to hot, and you'll likey get some ash in your mouth. No big deal its just not pleasant. A little trick that helps when pipe smoking, is to take a deep breath after you take the pipe away from your mouth. This will give a slightly similar effect that a rushy gives a bong. Complimenting your high.
Conclusion
There you have it, a brief rundown of the pros and cons of smoking methods. If maximising your high is your goal, then you can go past a good bong. If the occasion is more social, well, you can beat a spliff. Enjoy your smoke as always.
